An egg!

Our chickens have only been here for one day, but one of them already laid an egg.

That makes me one proud chickenfarmer.

Yesterday I built a cage out of scrap I found

It's on an old table in our laundryroom.

Today me and my wife went to Ikaalinen to get new pets.

So here they are. Our newest family members. Our children named them Karoliina and Broiler. Our baby bulldog were quite amazed about them, but the cat couldn't care less. 

Tired but pretty happy

We have been three full days snowboarding with Aino and Toivo.

Today we went to walk with snowshoes. It was a heavy job.

My wife Sanna and her sister Sari were at the forest with us too.
Now I should have some rest, because tomorrow it's time to drive home. It's about 900 kilometers on icey and slippery roads.

First full day at Levi

We arrived yesterday at noon to Levi lapland. It was quite cold.

Today it was much warmer.

We went sledding.

 

And afternoon we were to Levin Lapinkylä to see reindeers.

I found also a Lada which is one of my favorite cars.

Beginning of the winter break and and a day with princess Alli

The winter break begins today. I'm still on sick leave. My oldest daughter Jonna has a workday today so I'm with the princess today. After eating morning porridge we are going to take Urho the dog to Raija-mummu for a week.

Me and my clan are leaving to Levi tunturi, lapland and there are no dogs allowed in the cabin. Today's going to be all about packing the bags and boards to car. We're going to leave at midnight and hopefully get there at noon tomorrow.

Lunch pita

So here we go. Today I'm on sick leave, so I've plenty of time. So I made these pitas for lunch.

First I made this BBQ sauce. There's ketchup, black pepper, jeera and garlic powder in it.

Next was mustard yogurt. It's just mustard and yogurt mixed.  In tsatsiki is cucumber, vinegar, salt and Greece yogurt.

Meat in my pita included Jahti sausage and salmiakki salami

Next it was time to put all together and add a little parmesan edam cheese mix on top.

Tasted great. At least that's my opinion.
